When it comes to snacking – what’d ya like? Do you seek out something cold and creamy? Maybe, something salty and chewy? Or, do you reach for something mega crunchy? Sometimes, I veer towards mega crunchy, and other times I veer towards creamy. But most times I like a combination of creamy + salty + mega crunchy so I reach for TRISCUIT Crackers with some sort of salty, creamy, veggie topping. Most times that involves roughly torn chunks of fried bacon on top of not-so-photogenic lumps of avocado. But, today, I turned that avocado into a delicious avocado crema, sliced up some bacon neatly and topped my TRISCUIT Crackers with these for a pretty (at least I hope you think so) and delicious snack to share with y’all!
There are so many other delicious recipes for avocado crema around these interwebs, and, you probably have your favorite one, so please feel free to use that if you’d like to. Just like you might choose to use turkey bacon instead of pork bacon. There are really no hard and fast rules to this snack stack – other than the fact that you gotta use TRISCUIT Crackers as the base! This snack stack is more about inspiration that imposition.
When my now 19-year-old daughter was a toddler, we used to have at least two varieties of TRISCUIT Crackers hanging out in our pantry. During her toddler years, she went through this phase where she would only eat certain colored foods. There was the white foods phase with pasta and bananas, then the orange one with oranges and carrots and the green one with broccoli and spinach smoothies (but not real spinach – oh the mind of a toddler!). But, she never seemed to complain if I piled on a couple of carrot slices with cream cheese on TRISCUIT Crackers (that’s white and orange there folks!). Sometimes, I’d even succeed in feeding her three colors of caramelized onions and cheddar on TRISCUIT Crackers (brown + yellow + white = woohoo!)! You are seeing the common thread, eh? Yup – TRISCUIT Crackers! TRISCUIT Crackers happen to be non-GMO. Even though my daughter seems to have grown out of most of her food phases, we still pick up a couple of varieties of TRISCUIT Crackers from our neighborhood Kroger Store as they sure come in handy for snack stacks as well as any last-second entertaining needs.

- Juice of ½ lime
- ½ cup yogurt plain
- 1 avocado
- 1 tbsp cilantro chopped
- 1 tbsp parsley dried
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ¼ tsp coriander
- ½ tsp chili powder
- TRISCUIT Crackers
- Add all the ingredients into a bowl and using an immersion blender blend them up well. If you don’t have an immersion blender, add ingredients to a food processor or blender and blend till well incorporated.
- Place dainty dollops on TRISCUIT Crackers, top with bacon and sprinkle with parsley and cilantro.
