Even though robotic vacuum cleaners have been around since 1996, my fascination with them began when I ran into one a few years ago, at a get-together at a friend’s house. I couldn’t help but stare. I mean, this little gizmo purred away at vacuuming up all the crumbs and dog hairs while everyone else went about getting other things done! For a moment, I even forgot about the table of food as I entertained fantasies about all the time I could save if I were to invest in one.
But alas, I never did.
Instead, my daughter helped me rip out all the carpet in our house and replace it with laminate wood floors shortly after we added a second dog to our small family.
That was five years ago…
Recently, I have found myself ogling the robotic vacuum cleaners at Walmart every time I’m there. Only, these days, I’ve replaced my fantasies of an indoor robotic cleaner with fantasies of an outdoor robotic grass mower!
You see, when my daughter and I first moved into our home, I was a lot younger and gladly worked up a sweat running around with my little push mower as my daughter played in the yard.
But, long gone are the days when she played in the yard and I ran around with a push mower.
You see, these days I’d rather be out hiking with my daughter or having my hiney handed to me during a game of chess with her – especially on these extra muggy days HotLanta is in the middle of right now.
However, until I to move to a home without a yard or someone invents an affordable robotic grass mower, I do my best to piddle through hours of mowing and yard work; knowing that the light at the end of the so-called tunnel will be coming from my refrigerator (when I open it) where I have Reddi-wip®, International Delight® Caramel Macchiato, International Delight® Cold Stone Creamery Sweet Cream, and International Delight® Hershey’s Chocolate Caramel stashed away to use (from my recent trip to Walmart) in making this tall, cold, decadent Frozen Hot Chocolate Caramel Cream Frappe!
“To the flavor lover who doesn’t consider coffee coffee until it’s mostly creamer, we at International Delight dream about flavor, sweetness and creaminess too—they bring one heck of a tiny party to every sip. All you International Delight creamer lovers We like how you party!”
When it comes to Reddi-wip, “real dairy cream is the #1 ingredient. Always has been. Always will be… Reddi-wip is made from cows not treated with artificial growth hormone and contains no artificial flavors or sweeteners. With Reddi-wip, you can add the great taste of real dairy whipped topping to your favorite fruit, coffee, cocoa, or dessert—without adding hydrogenated oils.”
Now, this frappe is a bit unusual. You see, I didn’t really use ice cubes in it. Instead, I made hot chocolate with International Delight® Hershey’s Chocolate Caramel + milk + cocoa and froze it into cubes and used those. Now, this isn’t a super thick frappe. If you prefer it to be thicker, you could add 4-5 more plain ice cubes to it to make it so. There’s also 3 varieties of International Delight Creamers in this along with homemade caramel sauce, cocoa and milk of your choice. Topped with Reddi-wip, this here Frozen Hot Chocolate Caramel Cream Frappe is one deliciously decadent treat. It makes an indulgent treat after working up a sweat in the yard or even for guests to enjoy at a summer get-together.
Speaking of summer get-togethers, I’m starting to think that maybe I should have a mowing party and hand out edgers, hedgers, mowers and clippers as well as a tall glass of these Frozen Hot Chocolate Caramel Cream Frappe to folks who show up? What’d ya think?
If you love how I party – please do tell me how you would like to party with Reddi-wip® and International Delight® coffee creamers on hand?
