There are those of us who might glisten or perspire during a run or workout, and then there are those of us who sweat!

I happen to fall into that latter category.

Yup, I sweat – bucket-loads – even from my palms – so much so that my daughter has suggested I lick my palms instead of carrying a water bottle!!!

When I am out running, carrying music/keys (let alone a water bottle) have always been a challenge. In the past, I have gotten the arm contraptions that hold a phone/ipod but then I have my keys -either making a lot of noise in my pocket, or getting sweaty themselves in my hand!

Just when I had gotten used to running without music and with my keys in my arm contraption, I was given the opportunity to try out a FlipBelt! Being a lot more svelte and less restricting than a fanny pack, the FlipBelt can hold not only a phone/ipod and keys, it can also hold any loose change/credit cards and even snacks!

While it is not 100% waterproof and will safely tolerate a mild amount of sweat – placing an ipod/phone in a waterproof case and/or a Ziploc or similar bag or a plastic bag provided by the manufacturers, will keep it safe and dry.

I placed my ipod in a waterproof case and it hasn’t needed to be placed in rice just yet. I also noticed that the FlipBelt doesn’t ride up no matter how fast and hilly my run might end up being.

FlipBelt comfort

FlipBlet and SweatPink are partnering up to offer 10% off an entire purchase using code sweat33 for any new takers – so, if you are looking for an alternative to that fanny pack, and a contraption to place more than your ipod/phone – what are you waiting for? Head on over to FlipBelt to place your order! Other than the carbon colored one I received, FipBelts also come in black, pink, yellow, aqua, lime, neon green, violet, royal blue and neon punch!

Many years ago I used to tie my house key on my shoe and of course with each step of my run I would jingle. This is a much better idea.

I was so scared of loosing my key - there were times I would check and double check to make sure it was still attached - this belt solves all that!

Great idea! There's always stuff I can't find a place for when exercising. Of course this takes away my excuse for not doing it! ;-)

Doesn't it though! This belt is truly awesome!

I have to admit this belt sounds pretty cool, Shashi! I love your daughter's 'subtle' comment about you licking your palms ... hehehehe ... she sounds like a lot of fun!

Bought a similar belt and use when I work out at home. So, I can't comment about anything related to jogging. Gonna check out the belt further right now.

This would be awesome to hold onto music while working out at home for sure!
