I was super stoked to find this sample of JAVAPRO in my mailbox last night! But then I was hit with a dilemma – seeing this has coffee…should I skip my second morning cup? Should I have only half a cup? I have been having close to
5 more coffee than should be disclosed on here and I am trying to unsuccessfully cut down so adding a protein shake with coffee was getting me all sorts of discombobulated…(or maybe that was the coffee in my system)…so I figured I would cook the JAVAPRO into my oatmeal pancakes – because I like to think that, much like alcohol’s potency is cooked out in a dish, coffee’s caffeine level is “cooked out” in pancakes! 🙂
All joshing aside though – these pancakes were not only delicious, they were so darn hearty. They are very similar to my oatmeal pancakes –which won a recipe contest sponsored by the restaurant that serves our office buildings and was on the restaurant menu for a week-yup, am doing some tooting of my horn here! 🙂

Breakfast consisted of these pancakes and C.O.F.F.E.E.!!!
A busy day meant loads of snacking, which included (not pictured) carrots and peanuts – the perfect balance of sweet and salty! And more coffee – also not pictured.
And …one or two or three of these chocolate scones…I think this must be the 6th batch of these I have made…
Dinner was chicken seasoned with turmeric, paprika, cumin, salt and pepper and olive oil and a hooooooooge side of broccoli and black beans with onions, ginger and garlic and quinoa and green peppers.
And dessert – Kemps Butter Pecan frozen yogurt with homemade magic shell consisting of melted coconut oil and dark chocolate chips!
