This is a sponsored post on behalf of Walmart, Sverve, & AMP Agency. As always all opinions are my own.
A little over a year ago, my daughter’s doctor suggested I put her on a gluten free diet due to some annoying symptoms she was experiencing -at that point in time, I had no clue about Gluten Intolerance or Celiac Disease. As she didn’t test positive for Celiac Disease, the Doc suspected a gluten intolerance and, so, after more testing, we began our expedition into gluten free eating!
And I must say, the ride hasn’t been all that bad – though I think just about every journey (both literally and figuratively) with my daughter, have been a blessing!
So, when I was informed of a gluten free event/demo happening at a local Walmart store – I had to get my daughter and make an expedition down there to check out their options and products.
We got to Walmart around lunchtime and after meandering through the aisles and dodging flying shopping carts, we found 3 booths where 3 lovely ladies introduced our tastebuds to grilled cheese sandwiches on Udi’s Gluten Free Bread, Gluten Free Pizza and Glutino Cookies and Luna bars.
As Cliff bars are an on-the-go favorite in our house I quizzed one of the lovely ladies to find out if she knew where the new Gluten Free Cliff Bars would be – she directed me to looking down the aisles by the pharmacy, after handing me an informative brochure on Celiac Disease – it’s symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment.
And that’s when I came face to face with Cliff Mojo Dark Chocolate Almond Sea Salt bars! They are not too sweet with just the right blend of sweet and salty! I hope to use them in a recipe coming up the week after Valentine’s Day, so please stay tuned!
