Orange Chocolate Chip Protein Cookies

A delicious blend of chocolate chips and orange zest make these gluten free, healthier, protein packed cookies hard to resist!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Premier Protein Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1/2 cup quick cooking oats ground up 9I use my blender to grind up a batch of quick oats and keep it on hand to use in recipes.
  • 1/4 cup ground up flaxseed
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil I did not melt it, just used it in it's semi-sold state
  • 1 egg
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh orange zest
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips I used milk chocolate but semi sweet can also be used

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Place the Premier Protein Vanilla Protein Powder, oats, flax, baking soda, coconut sugar and salt in a bowl and mix them up
  • Then add in the coconut oil, the egg and orange zest and chocolate chips and mix well.
  • Divide and shape into 8 cookies
  • Place them on a parchment lined baking tray about an inch apart and bake for 9-10 minutes
  • Let cool and enjoy.
