A delicious blend of chocolate chips and orange zest make these gluten free, healthier, protein packed cookies hard to resist!
- 1/4 cup Premier Protein Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1/2 cup quick cooking oats ground up 9I use my blender to grind up a batch of quick oats and keep it on hand to use in recipes.
- 1/4 cup ground up flaxseed
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1/4 cup coconut oil I did not melt it, just used it in it's semi-sold state
- 1 egg
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh orange zest
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips I used milk chocolate but semi sweet can also be used
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Place the Premier Protein Vanilla Protein Powder, oats, flax, baking soda, coconut sugar and salt in a bowl and mix them up
Then add in the coconut oil, the egg and orange zest and chocolate chips and mix well.
Divide and shape into 8 cookies
Place them on a parchment lined baking tray about an inch apart and bake for 9-10 minutes
Let cool and enjoy.
