Green Tea Hazelnut Bites

Ingredients

For the bites

  • 2 cups hazelnut meal
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup freshly brewed kombucha green tea I use 2 bags for one cup
  • 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour

Topping

  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • In a bowl, add the hazelnut meal, honey, green tea, coconut oil and egg and mix well and then mix in the coconut flour
  • Form into balls/bites (I made 10 out of this), flatten slightly and place on a parchment lined baking tray
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds
  • Bake for 20 minutes
  • Let cool for about 15 minutes and sprinkle with mixed up cinnamon and brown sugar (optional)

Notes

These bites keep very well in an airtight container in a cool place.
