- Remove the tofu from the container it comes in and drain it. Then, set it on a kitchen towel.
- Add the arrowroot powder, coriander, smoked paprika, cayenne, onion powder, garlic powder, turmeric, cinnamon, and salt to a bowl and mix well.
- Then, cut the tofu block into tofu cubes or tear it apart into bite-sized pieces (like I did). Tearing the tofu gives it more ridges and nooks for the arrowroot and spices to stick to, making this tofu even more crispy).
- Add the tofu into the bowl with the arrowroot powder and spices and toss it so the pieces of tofu are well coated.
- Add the tofu to the air fryer and spray with any cooking oil spray you have.
- Air fry the tofu at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes on one side. Using a spatula, carefully toss the hot tofu over, and air fry for another 10 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- When done, remove the tofu from the air fryer and let it sit for about 2-3 minutes. Then, enjoy it with your favorite sauces, dips, or chutney. My favorite dip for tofu cooked this way is a combination of honey mustard and BBQ sauces!
