These little Chickpea Lentil Sliders are chock full of flavor and are super easy to make! They also happen to be gluten and dairy free!

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 1 cup cooked orange lentils
  • 1 small yellow onion
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder optional
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon cilantro
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • Place all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and pulse till well incorporated.
  • Form into balls and flatten slightly
  • Drizzle olive oil into an oven safe pan and place flattened Chickpea Lentil Sliders in it
  • Let brown for 3 minutes over medium heat
  • Flip each slider
  • Then place pan in the oven and let sliders bake for 10-12 minutes
  • Serve on Bibb lettuce wraps.
