These 6 ingredient Chocolate Dipped Sesame Almond Cookies are delicious to snack on and heart enough for a quick breakfast!
- 3/4 cup almond meal
- 1/4 cup Simply Sesame's Vanilla with Almond Bites Spread
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- a pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup good quality chocolate for melting
Preheat oven to 375
Add the almond meal, coconut sugar, Simply Sesame's Vanilla with Almond Bites Spread, the egg, almond extract and salt to a bowl and mix well.
Form into 8 balls, flatten slightly and bake for 15 minutes
Remove from the oven and let cool a bit
When cooled, melt the chocolate ( I simply zapped it in my microwave on 30 seconds intervals)
Then, dip or spread chocolate onto half of each cookie - let cool so chocolate hardens and enjoy!
