The flavors of Cardamom, Cinnamon and Orange intertwine in this refined sugar-free, Clumpy Cinnamon Cardamom Orange Granola – care to join me in enjoying it over some Greek yogurt and honey?

Ingredients

  • 5 cups oats
  • 1 tsp cardamom
  • 2 tsps cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 3 cups pecans
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Nielsen-Massey Pure Orange Extract
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil melted
  • 1 egg white

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees
  • Add the oats, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, pecans and salt to a bowl and mix well with a spoon.
  • Similarly, add the Nielsen-Massey Pure Orange Extract, maple syrup, coconut oil and egg white to a bowl and mix well also with a spoon.
  • Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well. Then, spoon mixture onto a parchment lined baking sheet and bake at 300 F for 40-45 minutes, stirring (as needed) every 15 minutes or so. As oven temps vary, make sure to check your granola ever so often to make sure it's not browning.
  • When granola is baked, let it cool completely before breaking it up.
