Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • ¼ cup freshly chopped cilantro
  • 2 air-chilled chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Start you grill and let it heat up
  • Add oil, lime juice, and maple syrup to a bowl and mix well with a spoon.
  • Peel the garlic cloves and grate them into the bowl with the maple syrup, lime juice, and oil.
  • Add in the cilantro and mix well.
  • Then add in the 2 air-chilled chicken breasts to the lime cilantro marinade, cover, and place in the fridge for 15 minutes.
  • Then, place marinated chicken breasts on hot grill and grill for 8-10 minutes. Brush on more of the marinade when the time is up and then, using tongs, flip the chicken breasts over to grill another 8-1 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken is 165 degrees.
  • Remove chicken from grill and set aside to rest.
  • Enjoy with turmeric potatoes and an easy cucumber onion salad.
