Butter your slices of bread.
Add the almond milk, vanilla extract, almond extract, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves to a large flat container and mix well.
Add 1-2 tbsp oil to a pan and set it onto a stovetop set on medium heat/flame.
Then, dunk the buttered slices of bread into the spiced almond milk mixture.
Place two slices at a time into the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
Flip and cook on the other side until it is golden too.
Repeat until all the slices are cooked.
Serve at room temperature with berries, maple syrup, and dusted with powdered sugar.
