Juicy, sweet papaya and fresh ginger unite harmoniously in this dairy-free and delicious, 3-ingredient Papaya Ginger Smoothie.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 ripe papaya about 3 cups
  • 1- inch chunk of ginger about 2 tsp
  • 1 cup almond milk or coconut milk
  • OPTIONAL: 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • OPTIONAL: mint sprigs

Instructions

  • Cut the papaya in half, scoop out the seeds, and then scoop out the flesh from one half and add it to a blender.
  • Peel the skin off the chunk of ginger. Then add the chunk into the blender with the papaya.
  • Add in the almond milk or coconut milk.
  • If using maple syrup or a sweetener of your choice, add it now.
  • Blend until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Pour into glasses, top with some small pieces of chopped papaya and/or a mint spring and enjoy!
