Preheat oven to 300 degrees
Add the oats, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, pecans and salt to a bowl and mix well with a spoon.
Similarly, add the Nielsen-Massey Pure Orange Extract, maple syrup, coconut oil and egg white to a bowl and mix well also with a spoon.
Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well. Then, spoon mixture onto a parchment lined baking sheet and bake at 300 F for 40-45 minutes, stirring (as needed) every 15 minutes or so. As oven temps vary, make sure to check your granola ever so often to make sure it's not browning.
When granola is baked, let it cool completely before breaking it up.
