Gooey in the middle and slightly crispy on the outside, these Chocolate Peppermint Cherry Cookies would be a lovely treat for your next holiday cookie party, or just because!
- 1 1/4 sticks unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup Hershey Dark Chocolate Powder
- 3/4 cup White Chocolate Peppermint Chips
- 1/4 cup maraschino cherries - chopped
Get Recipe Ingredients
Cream butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar together using an electric handheld mixer.
Then add in the egg and vanilla extract and cream together.
Add in the Hershey Dark Chocolate Powder, all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and mix well.
Add in the White Chocolate Peppermint Chips and maraschino cherries.
Then chill the cookie dough for at least a couple of hours (the more chilled the dough, the less spread)
When dough is chilled, preheat oven to 375 degrees, form dough into rough balls and bake on a parchment lined baking tray for 10-11 minutes. Let cool completely and enjoy.
