Luscious, yet so easy, these Cheesy Baked Mashed Potatoes with a hint of turmeric are gonna make a delicious side at your holiday table!
- 4 medium yellow potatoes
- 3/4 cup 1% milk
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 cup Mahón-Menorca cheese
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Get Recipe Ingredients
Boil potatoes till they are cooked through and skin begins to pull apart.
Let potatoes cool till then can be handled.
Peel off the skins and add potatoes to a bowl.
Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Using a fork, roughly mash the potatoes up.
Then add in the milk, turmeric, butter, and, mix them up well using a handheld electric mixer.
Add in the salt and pepper and cheese and mix with a spatula.
Scoop mixture into an oven safe dish and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
