This 3-ingredient, super Easy Garlic Asparagus Recipe with Maple and Chili makes eating-in so easy, no matter how busy life gets.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp chili flakes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Wash asparagus and dry on a kitchen towel. Then, cut asparagus stalks into 3 parts.
  • Add oil to a pan and let warm up a little over medium heat.
  • Add in the cut asparagus and grate the garlic on top of the asparagus. Mix the grated garlic with asparagus.
  • Add in the maple syrup and chili flakes and cover pan. Let cook for 2 minutes.
  • Uncover and let cook for about 1-2 minutes, increasing the flame/heat a little so liquid evaporates just a little. When time is up (the liquid should not evaporate entirely) remove from heat.
  • Season with salt and pepper and enjoy warm!
