You can still enjoy an Easy Homemade Salsa even if you do not have tomatoes on hand with this versatile and tasty 3-ingredient version ~ or should I say, salsa-hack.
- 1 15 oz can fire-roasted tomatoes
- 1/4 red onion
- 2 tsp cilantro
- salt & pepper to taste
Get Recipe Ingredients
Open can of fire roasted tomatoes and drain just a bit of the liquid out. Then, place the fire roasted tomatoes in a bowl.
Divide a red onion into 4 quarters. Set the other three quarters aside and dice up one quarter of the red onion.
Add the diced onion to the bowl with the fire roasted tomatoes.
Chop up some cilantro so it equals 2 teaspoons and add this to the bowl as well.
Mix all ingredients well, season with salt and pepper as needed, and enjoy.
