Made with fresh mangoes and nine other ingredients, this Spicy Mango Sauce is delicious both as a dip and as a condiment smothered on burgers, hot dogs, or roasted chicken and pork. Naturally sugar-free, vegan, preservative-free, and gluten-free, this is a wholesome and easy mango sauce recipe.
Peel and chop the onion, garlic, ginger, and mango.
Add the oil to a medium saucepan and set it on a stove with the heat level set to medium heat. Then add in the onion, ginger, and garlic to the pan and saute over medium heat for 8-10 minutes – stirring often so the ingredients don’t burn.
Then remove from the heat and add the sautéed onion, ginger, and garlic mixture to a blender or food processor.
Also, add the spices: the turmeric, cumin, and chili powder to the blender. Pour in the coconut milk and maple syrup.
Blend for a few seconds until all ingredients are well incorporated and the sauce is creamy.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and enjoy!
