Boneless pork chops are pan sautéed and encased in a delicious ginger glaze. Salty, spicy, and so scrumptious, these one-pot pork chops are a sure to be a winner at your dinner table!
Peel the garlic clove and the ginger. Then, using a microplane grater, grate the ginger and garlic clove.
Place olive oil in a pan over medium heat and place the pork chops in the pan. Cook pork chops for 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip them over and cook 3-4 more minutes on the other side. Then remove pork chops from the pan and set them aside – covered on a plate or bowl.
Place the pan with the drippings from cooking the pork back on the stove on medium heat. Make sure not to discard any of the drippings.
Add the grated ginger and garlic to the pan and sauté it for about a minute.
Then add in the soy sauce, red wine vinegar and chili flakes and stir vigorously together so all ingredients blend well. Let this simmer for another 1-2 minutes.
Take the pan off the heat and place the cooked pork chops back into the ginger glaze. Spoon the glaze well around the pork chops. Then place a lid over the pan with the ginger glazed pork chops and set it aside for 10 minutes.
Serve garnished with green onions, chopped cilantro, and more chili flakes. Enjoy!
