These chocolate hemp cookies are so easy to make.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit or 190 degrees Celsius.
Add the almond meal, rice flour, salt, hemp hearts, baking powder, brown sugar, and cocoa to a large bowl. Using a spatula or spoon, mix all the dry ingredients.
Then, chop the chocolate and add it in. Or, if using chocolate chips, add those in at this time.
Add the egg and melted coconut oil to the flour mixture and mix well
Form into 6 balls and gently flatten them slightly.
Place each disc of cookie dough onto a parchment paper-lined baking tray.
Bake these cookies for 10 – 12 minutes. Then, remove from the oven and let cool.
I like to drizzle these with some melted semi-sweet chocolate and let that set.
These are so tasty with my morning coffee or as an afternoon snack with a cold glass of non-dairy milk.
