Coriander, cumin, and smoked paprika add a tasty spin to these easy, gluten free lentil cheese burgers. Enjoy them with a light salad or on lettuce leaves or a bun with all the fixings.
For the Burgers
- 4 cups cooked lentils I boiled 2 cups red lentils in 4 cups water for 25 minutes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
- 1/2 cup grated Dill Flavored Castello Haverti Cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 small onion finely chopped
For the Sauce:
- 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon wasabi paste
- 1 1/4 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice

For the burgers
Preheat oven to 375
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl till well incorporated
Coat a pan with olive oil and let heat up over a medium flame
Form lentil-cheese mixture into burgers
Cook on each side for 4 minutes -flipping gently
Transfer to a foil lined baking tray and bake at 375 for 15 minutes
