As days get shorter and cooler, grab a blanket, and cozy up to a large mug of this ginger cardamom tea. Made in a slow cooker, the aroma of this tea will have your home smelling so inviting.
- 6 tablespoons loose leaf Ceylon Black tea from Bulk Bins at Sprouts
- 6 cups water
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 1 inch chunk of fresh ginger
- 8-12 pods pf cardamom
- 6 tbsp condensed milk

If you have some cheesecloth, add the tea to it and gather up the corners and secure this little pouch. However, if you don’t have any cheesecloth, simply add the loose tea leaves to a slow cooker – keeping in mind that you will have to strain this later.
Add in the cinnamon sticks, peel the ginger and add the peeled ginger too, and the cardamom pods as well into the water.
Set slow cooker to cook on low for 6 hours or high for two hours.
When ready, mix in a tablespoon of condensed milk and enjoy with some yogurt-covered pretzels.
