In these Triple Chocolate Oatmeal Pancakes, oatmeal unites with cocoa AND chopped up pieces of the Mango Coconut Chocolate Bar AND pieces of dark chocolate covered almonds for a decadent breakfast treat ~ perfect for chocolate lovers!
- 1 cup quick oats - ground up to make "oat flour"
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar can add more for a sweeter pancake
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 Brookside mango coconut chocolate bar - chopped up
- 6-7 Brookside dark and milk chocolate covered almonds
Get Recipe Ingredients
In a large bowl, mix ground up oats, baking powder, salt, and cocoa together
To this, then add in the milk, egg, and vanilla
Stir in the 1/2 the Brookside's Mango Coconut and a handful of Brookside's dark chocolate and milk chocolate covered almonds
Place a pan over a medium flame and grease it with some olive oil and let it warm up.
When warm, ladle 2-3 spoonfuls of pancake mix and cook each pancake for 2-3 minutes on each side.
We topped our pancakes with non-dairy whipped topping, chocolate syrup, and the rest of the bar of chocolate and some dark chocolate-covered almonds. You can also add fruit and syrup - if you prefer.
