Spiced with coriander and smoked paprika, these turkey balls are such a tasty treat. In this Easy Turkey Ball Curry, they are added to a gloriously spiced tomato curry sauce that is sure to tantalize your tastebuds.
For the turkey balls:
- 3 tablespoons almond meal
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
For the curry
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 onions diced
- 2 inch piece of ginger finely chopped
- 6 pieces garlic chopped
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup coconut milk can use almond milk or regular milk too
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
- salt and pepper
- handful of cilantro

For the turkey balls:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Add the almond meal, turkey, egg, coriander, cayenne, smoked paprika, salt,
and pepper together into a bowl and mix well.
Form into balls and bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and set aside.
For the curry:
Add diced onions and oil to a pan over medium heat and saute 10 minutes.
Grate the ginger and add it along with the copped garlic to the onion and saute 5 minutes.
Then add in the water, coconut milk, tomato paste, coriander, cumin, smoked paprika, cayenne, turmeric powder, red chili powder and mix well.
Then ad in the baked turkey balls and cover and simmer 5 more minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and garnish with cilantro and enjoy!
