  1. These protein banana crรชpes look so pretty and so delicious. I wish I can have them for breakfast every day. Taw Kwon Do name itself is so fascinating to me. Your daughter got her Taw Kwon Do belt at age 7? Wow, bravo! Beautiful story.

    1. Thanks so much Anu, actually, my daughter started TKD at 6/7 – she did it for 5 years – she got her first belt (i think it was a yellow or white one) at 7 – not her black belt – that came way, way later.

  2. What a gorgeous crepe, Shashi! Using matcha powder in there is an excellent idea…and then that apple pecan filling. It’s like your talking my language with that one. We’re about to go pick our weight in apples here soon, and I’m thinking some of them need to end up in crepes. And what a great story about lil Shashi’s Tae Kwon Do teacher. I love the idea of a little life lesson mixed in with every class. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Lil Shashi’s TKD instructor was a Godsend – especially at that time of her life – funny how good people fall into our lives to fill the holes at yucky times eh?! ๐Ÿ™‚
BTW – thanks so very much! Lil Shashi and I didn’t make it to the orchards last year, but we are definitely going this year – nothing quite like fresh picked apples from an orchard!

  3. I’ve just arrived back in Paris and I’ve been eating crepes like crazy, but they’re not quite as healthy as these! Haha

    1. OMG Tara – French crepes are to die for! Besides, when you walk everywhere, it doesn’t matter if those crepes are not so healthy eh?! ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Shashi, I absolutely loved this post. It’s such a great reminder for all of us to believe in ourselves, no matter what people say. Yes, we have to be honest and humble, but we can’t mistake that for criticisms from others that were just meant to bring us down. I find myself being thankful for your kiddo’s TKD instructor. ” โ€œI wish you all the best.โ€œ Best comeback, ever. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Thank you for sharing such an uplifting life lesson with these gorgeous and nutritiously wonderful crepes. Shashi, you know I love all the creative ways you sneak protein into a yummy recipe. I hope you have a wonderful week filled with positivity my friend. xoxo

    1. Thanks so very much Demeter! Thankfully I have been so fortunate to have met more people like my daughter’s TKD instructor than those “critical” (to put it mildly) people who spew stuff for no reason – yes, am speaking from a recent incident so please excuse my tinge of sour and negativity.
But, positive cap on now – other than that, my week has been wonderful – as I hope yours has been too!
      XOXO

  5. I missed your stories and of course your delicious recipes. Self worth and learning this life lesson is so important in this harsh world we live in. Of course I have brought back some matcha!!! Of course I cannot wait to make these delicious crepes. A treat with antioxidants…and protein. now that is my kind of treat. Thanks so much for your support… and virtual hugs. Sharing everywhere! Take care, BAM
