  1. I made this with 1tsp of smoked paprika and 1/2tsp cayenne. Turns out that’s too much cayenne for me! I couldn’t eat much of it. I think I will use only 1/4 tsp cayenne next time. It was good, though, and I think dialing down the spice a bit will make it a good staple meal.

  2. Great way to use leftovers. I used fresh green beans and leftover black beans and steamed potatoes. Put the green beans in with the onions, garlic, and ginger. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, then add the potatoes and beans. I used a pinch of cayenne and lots of smoked paprika.
