Banana Cream Bites
I’ve partnered with Premier Protein to bring y’all these Bananas & Cream Protein Bites. As always, all opinions are my own. Thanks so much for supporting the brands that keep this Srilankan Runnin!
Need a quick and easy breakfast you can munch on in traffic? Or, how about a filling and delicious snack to tide you over till dinner time? Well, that’s where these little five-ingredient, gluten-free, protein-packed, bites come in handy!
Forget the malls and coffee houses, lately, retail warehouse clubs are becoming my preferred hangout joints! I mean, how many places are there where you can have a gourmet lunch of samples for $0.00 – while still enjoying discount prices on just about EVERYTHING and good conversations?
Keeping that in mind, this past weekend my daughter and I headed to our neighborhood Sam’s Club. While we were there, we decided to grab us some samples of chocolate and caramel drizzled popcorn, that we happened on. However, the lady offering up the samples stopped us. With a very solemn expression, she asked us if we had tasted the popcorn yet. And, when we replied we hadn’t, she made us stop and taste how good the popcorn was right there in front of her. As soon as those popcorn pieces started to introduce themselves to our tasetbuds, she looked at us – oh so solemnly again – and asked us if we felt how good that popcorn was! And – I gotta admit – tasting that popcorn was a full blown sensory experience indeed!
Now, you might be wondering what that popcorn has to do with these bites and I gotta say – not a darn thing! However, when we were at Sam’s Club, we came across Premier Protein’s brand spanking new shake flavor: Bananas & Cream – and, one taste of this new shake flavor and y’all will FEEL how good it tastes – no lie!
I had some dehydrated banana chips at the house and decided to crumble these up and use them with Premier Protein’s Bananas and Cream Shake in a portable, easy and delicious bite – along with some peanut butter, vanilla essence, and coconut flour. These bites are quite filling and I enjoyed a few of them for breakfast as well as after work one day. They can also be drizzled with chocolate – as my daughter suggested – and enjoyed as a dessert – either way, you will keep wanting just one more bite! 🙂

Quick, easy and healthy! What is not to like about these little protein bites. Mornings are just such a rush in our house with everyone trying to get off to work and school and most days just grabbing something simple that you can nibble on at the bus stop like your bananas cream protein bites are the perfect solution. Pinning!
Anything banana is just so comforting! What a great protein snack!
Mouthwatering 5-ingredient protein bites… They look like scrumptious profiteroles but with a plus — they are good for our health and much easier to prepare.
Gurrrrrl — you and me, we gotta hang out at the retail warehouse together. Free eats. And good ones too. I love good popcorn. I am SO in. And these protein bites. And this drizzled chocolate. Woohoo. You know I love the chocolate. It’s only Tuesday and already it feeling like the weekend! Thank you Shashi!! XO
Throw those in a tub of ice cream and park your butt on the couch and watch a few chick flicks. Yep. Sounds like a dream come true to me!
I’d love to have a batch of these on hand to snack on!
HA!! Yes, you can sure get enough samples at the warehouses to fill up–but these bites help you fuel up and looks so much better!
Hahaha…I’m totally right there with ya on the lunch at Sam’s Club, Shashi. Laura and I always joke that we should go on a lunch date to Sam’s Club on the weekends. And the best time to go is during the holidays…or better yet…the day before the Super Bowl. There are so many tasting carts that you can’t even get down the aisles. It requires one circle just to scout everything out so you can go back in the proper order. Appetizers. Main courses. Desserts. Speaking of desserts, I could down about 3 or 10 of these banana cream bites. What a fun idea! And no bake at that! 🙂
I would like to try this at home! Love bananas 🙂
you said bites and I”m there! love the creamy banana version. great idea! as always
I love that these only have a few ingredients in them!! YUM!
That must’ve been some popcorn, Shashi! And that samples person took her job VERY seriously. I dig that!
I also dig protein wherever I can get it, especially where there’s a chocolate drizzle on top. Yay!
Wow! These bites look sensational, Shashi. Even though I don’t workout but these bars are so so delicious that I actually want to workout to enjoy them! 🙂 YUMMY!
They look great and I love how versatile they are – breakfast, snack or dessert! They certainly wouldn’t last long. Yummed!
Perfect for my post workout treat!
