    1. Haha – thanks so much Chris!!! I actually got the idea for these from a restaurant i visited in Dallas – so I cannot take full kudos for the idea 🙂

  1. Confession: I can probably count on one hand the number of times in my LIFE that I’ve had a burger. I don’t know what it is, but I’m just not cray about them. That being said, I actually love veggie burgers and will take those hands down over the real kind. Also… you are the queen of beets 🙂

    1. Haha!!! Thanks so much Amanda! The more I get to know you, the more I see we couldn’t be roommates as we LOVE almost ALL the same foods – we’d always be out of our favorites – which means we’d always be out of food! YIKES!!! Though the offer to send you flavored almonds still stands – I just cannot hand deliver them or you might not get to finish the whole container 🙂

  2. You do some seriously amazing things with beets over there, Shashi! These burgers look insane. I’m loving that combo of seasonings you’ve got going on in there, too…and hot sauce = win! I’m pretty sure I need these burgers to show up for next Saturday’s tailgating!

    1. Thanks so much David! Have you tried that black label El Yucateco? This was my first time trying that one and WOW – it was fantastic! Think it’s my fave out of all of them! If I remember right, Mrs Spiced likes beets right? So, I think she might enjoy these!

  3. Hiya Shashi…or super beet women… LOL You always are coming up with the most creative ideas. My boys like it spicy so I am sure I could double the hot sauce in this recipe… Hey check out step 5 of your recipe..? Pinning my friend!

    1. Thanks so much Bam! I think step 5 was supposed to be a blank line – not sure why the 5 printed – but I so appreciate you giving me a heads up! I sure hope your boys enjoy this as much as my daughter and I did! xx
