  3. This looks amazing! I love all of your pictures, the cake looks so moist and the frostings are lovely 🙂 definitely checking out a ton of those recipes… I have like 50 tabs open now 🙂

  4. OMG I’m going to spend the next hour going through all those recipes. Your cake looks amazing!!! And, like you, it wasn’t until I moved out of Australia that I discovered the wonders of peanut butter and chocolate. PB is a rare foodie love in Australia!

    1. When I was in Sri lanka – I don’t ever remember hearing about it either! None of my friends even brought a PB&J sandwich for lunch – ever! Funny eh?!
By the way – thanks so much Tara!

  5. Not the prettiest?! You crazy! I think it looks gorgeous, and ohhhhhhh so good. But I’d have to replace the PB with AB 😛 And I never had a nut butter and jelly sandwich growing up either. In fact, I don’t think I had my first taste of almond butter until I was around 24 or 25… I thought I was allergic to ALL nuts when I was growing up, so I’m kind of over the moon that that wasn’t the case! #pinned

    1. Aww shucks – thanks so much Amanda!
Hey – are you allergic to pistachios? I saw another blogger make pistachio butter earlier this week – and I remember having a pistachio cake once in NYC where they had used pistachio paste – this cake was phenomenal!

  6. Shashi! This is seriously one of the best looking cakes I’ve seen in a long time. Cake decorating classes? No way! Save the money on those and just send me a slice of this cake instead. And lil Shashi’s idea of topping this with fresh fruit is golden…we’ll make a food blogger out of her yet! 🙂

P.S. I love peanut butter sandwiches…but no jelly. I don’t like jelly mixing in there with my peanut butter. Go figure.

    1. Oh David – you are way too kind! Thank you my friend! But I’m thinking that lemon coconut cake you made was on the top of the list of best looking cakes I’ve seen!
Dude – you don’t like jelly on your PB’s??? How about bananas and honey and PB on bread that is then put on the stove top or grill – oooh ooey gooey pb and honey and nananers…please tell me you are a fan….
