Yogurt Oatmeal Pancakes
These pancakes are so super simple, they can be whipped up any time of the day, any day of the week! These are made with ingredients such as oats, milk of your choice, an egg, and baking powder, which you probably already have lying around your house!

Life can get crazy at times…sometimes, even downright tiring!
These last few days, I have been bone tired – maybe it’s the cold, or, maybe it’s being back to my 9-5 job. Either way, I have just been so in need of a Me moment that yesterday I plopped in front of the telly and turned on Netflix (trying to fulfill my resolutions from years past).
I was looking for an old episode of Desperate Housewives, only to find that Netflix doesn’t carry it anymore! So, I turned off the telly and cleaned the whole kitchen – sometimes, I cannot explain my actions either!
At least I know why I am tired today!
Life can get crazy at times…sometimes, even downright messy!
Yesterday morning it was 12 degrees in Atlanta (not including the wind chill), and even my dogs were feeling it – so much so that when I opened the back door to let them out, they decided it was too cold to walk down the deck stairs and proceeded to “decorate” the deck with their “business!
At least it wasn’t the living room they decided to decorate – right?!

Life’s crazy, tiring, and messy moments dictate the need for sanity saving Me moments!
Me moments would be wonderful with a bowl of vanilla ice cream – but, not the best idea for lactose-intolerant old me! Besides, I usually like an indulgent treat that balances taste and nutrition! And, that’s where Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt comes into play! This is a new product by Müller®; I gotta say, Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt is the right amount of wrong! 😆

One morning, in my attempt to add variety to my breakfasts (and snacks and desserts) of Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt, I figured I would use them in pancakes. And that’s how these super easy Yogurt Oatmeal Pancakes got in my belly!
There are many versions of Yogurt Oatmeal Pancakes out there – and mine is probably not very different from them; with the only differences being that mine contain ground up gluten free oats; and, only 4 other ingredients in addition to 2 containers of Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt!

These pancakes are so super simple, they can be whipped up any time of the day, any day of the week – with ingredients such as oats, milk (of your choice), an egg and baking powder – which you probably already have lying around your house!

Just mix them up with Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt and spoon them onto a greased pan and flip and voila – your Me Moment is ready! But be warned, these pancakes taste more indulgent than their ingredient list makes them out to be – specially with toppings of Raspberry Chocolate Chip and Vanilla Bean Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt!

Ingredients
- 1 cup ground oats I used a blender to grind up my gluten free ones
- 1/2 cup milk I used almond milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 Raspberry Chocolate Chip Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt container
- 1 Vanilla Bean Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt container
Instructions
- In a larg bowl, mix the oats, egg, baking powder, almond milk and Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt together
- Let sit for a couple of minutes while you grease and warm up a frying pan
- Add 2-3 tablespoons of batter to pan and cook -one a low flame- for 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook 2 to 3 more minutes
- Then enjoy with your favorite toppings – I would love to suggest Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt and syrup!

These look to die for!! I am craving pancakes so bad right now!
Haha – thanks so much Ashley! 🙂
Pancakes <3 The perfect ME breakfast!
True that, Rebecca!
I’m slowly falling in love with pancakes. I never used to like them before because they felt dry and bland. But I’ve learned ways around that now and I’m sure these are way beyond bland! Never used yogurt with pancakes. YUM!
I used to not like those restaurant pancakes because I thought they were bland – but when I make them at home, I have total freedom to doctor them up the way I want!
Btw, thanks so much Melanie!
What a fantastic yogurt! Ice-cream inspired pancakes…I’m in!
Thanks so much Marjory!
That yogurt sounds amazing and these pancakes look so yummy! I hope you get to rest and relax this weekend 🙂
Thanks so very much Sonali! And thanks for stopping by 🙂
Yummy, as always!
Thanks Arthur!
Totally digging these pancakes, Shashi! They look delicious. Also, we have definitely had those mornings where the dogs decided to decorate our back deck, too. That usually is followed by me getting a bucket of water to dump on the back deck. The aforementioned water then turns to ice within a short period of time…and then the dogs slide across it later. So their plan kinda comes back to bite them in the rear…haha! Oh, and I hear ya about being tired. This week has been rough!!
Hahahaha! Oh my – I just had a visual of your dogs slipping and sliding over that water! I so need to try that (when my daughter is not looking – she babies our dogs way too much!)
If temperatures here were like they were in Upstate NY – I would have called my boss and told him I was going into hibernation – till April!
Btw – Thanks David! Hope you and Laura had a wonderful weekend!
Whoa whoa whoa. HOLD UP. Ice Cream inspired yogurt? AND IN A PANCAKE?
You KNOW that I am 110% all over these. I seriously need to find that yogurt because…HOLY YUM.
And that is totally something my dog would do. Little buggers.
Pinned!
Hahaha – when it snowed here last year, Taylor, I had “yellow” snow on my deck!!! GAH!!!! But then again – if my “bathroom” was outdoors, I might need some Depends or something… 😉
Thanks so much lady! I hope you find this yogurt there – it is so creamy and decadent!
yum! these look so tasty! Love that you used oat flour! My fav! Def gonna try those yogurts!!!
Thanks so much!
I’ve been really tired this week and I’ve fought it every day. I’m not sleeping well and then I push myself from early morning. Maybe if I had these pancakes then went to bed with a book I’d feel better. 🙂
Maureen – now these pancakes as dessert is such a brilliant idea! I am gonna go make me some right now! 😉
I hope and pray John is feeling better.
Nice way of kicking starting with a healthy meal.
Thanks so much Nava!
A taste of ice cream in the morning? I want in…even if we ain’t actually eating the real deal ;)! When I lived in London, I used to buy Muller Light yogurts by the dozen. I know they are filled with sweeteners but they tasted so good, especially the vanilla & caramel flavours!
I am a huge fan of vanilla – I don’t think I’ve ever tried the caramel – Muller is a wonderfully indulgent treat, specially these new ice cream inspired ones – and seeing my lactose intolerant gut won’t let me eat the real deal – these will have to do 😉
These are a great meal to kick start the day, Shashi.
Thanks so much Angie!
