  1. Shashi, I wish I could able to clone myself too to delegate some boring/tedious work. I’m just a bit concerned about the fact the clone might turn out as lasy and messy as I am, haha)) I do love beets and can eat them even raw! However, mixed with sweet potatoes and cheese, this one is a perfect comfort dish I’d love to dig into right now. Well done!

  2. Clone myself – that would be handy! Last week I watched Mary Poppins on TV. When I saw how she was able to clean up the nursery with just a click of her fingers, that’s the super-power I wished for! xx

  3. My flatmate and I have a deal that if she cooks, I clean up. The only problem is that she is a master chef and consequently uses about 1,305 pans and dishes that I spend an hour scrubbing. These would come in handy! haha

As a side note, I had no idea you had a day job as well. I’m all the more impressed that you have the time to come up with all of these amazing recipes!

  4. Heck, I still ask “why no choco milky”? Haha! Just kidding. We just spent the weekend with my sister and her 2-year-old, and I think I am scarred for life. I also need adult words again! I’m digging this braised beets idea here! I don’t think I’ve ever made braised beets…but they look (and sound) delicious. I do love my cast iron skillet. It’s probably one of my favorite pieces of cookware. Thanks for sharing the cleaning tips, my friend! 🙂
