  2. This soup looks incredible Shashi. I am just learning about all the wonderful benefits of turmeric. A pulmonologist friend of mine was recently telling me that she and all her dr. friends have their chemo patients take turmeric because it is such a power horse for immune building and fighting off infection. So I take it every day…. as a horse pill. But I’d much rather be taking it spoonful by delicious spoonful in this yummy soup. And garlic we KNOW is wonderful for you. Good for your sweet daughter getting you that planner, I have a similar one. The only time I run into problems is when I don’t open the planner. Yeah, it happens. Your slow cooker story reminds me that I am supposed to be chopping up and browning a chunk of chuck roast right now to get it in my slow cooker for a beef stew for dinner tonight.
