  1. Oh Shashi, seems like we were galavanting twins this Christmas! I had plans to get things done but ended up just having fun, too! (Oh well … who ever regretted setting aside time for fun?!)
Absolutely love this idea. What a great thought to make those cute little cups out of crushed nuts! You’re definitely queen of the healthy treats!

    1. Haha – no way have I ever regretted setting aside some time for fun! 🙂 Glad to hear you’ve been gallivanting too – Happy happy New Year and thanks so much!

  2. How amazing that your winter is so mild. Those mansions in Georgia are incredible. Your frozen treats would be perfect for our hot, humid days. Happy New Year to you and your family xx

    1. Hey Charlie – I think those mild temps were temporary – our lows this morning were in the frigid 30s (-1 C)
Happy New Year to you and your lovely family! xx

  3. Everything you make is amazing, but these seriously take the cake at being one of my favorite recipes you’ve made all year. *-* I need to drag my friends together so we can make these! <3!

  4. I would never have thought of grinding up almonds to make the frozen berry cups. I bet that tastes much better than standard pastry cups too!

Hope you get to finish Nagi’s book. I got it a couple of months ago and her tips for me (particularly the ones to do with artificial lighting) are a great help. 🙂

And, have a fantastic New Year too Shashi. We’re already looking forward to seeing what excellent stuff will come out of runninsrilankan in 2016. 😀

    1. Thanks so much Neil and Happy 2016 to you and Lady Lynne!
Unfortunately, I haven’t finished Nagi’s book yet – this was one busy Christmas break – but hopefully soon! BTW, so enjoyed your travel post!

  5. Happy New Year Shashi! these gorgeous little almond tarts with frozen berries is a fun but healthy way to start out the New Year right. I think it may be more warmer where you live compared to Hong Kong. LOL

    1. I got tired of the rain – it’s cold now but at least the sun has been out 🙂
Thanks so much Ashley and Happy Happy 2016 to you too, my friend!

    1. Thanks so much Sharon! That filling was indeed wonderful – I saved some of it and have been defrosting it and enjoying it with a hot cup of coffee! 🙂

  6. You had me at cardamom! These sound fantastic, Shashi. Maybe a bit cold for us here in the chilly Rockies. And I think galavanting around with your daughter is way more important and fun than doing this!
