  2. I have added ghee and peanut butter powder to my oldest son’s pancakes because he’s trying to gain weight.

  3. You are not the only one! Usually when I do read a book, it’s in bed and it always makes me sleepy even though I do enjoy what I’m ready. Funny thing, right?
I’ve never heard of marionberry before, but this stack looks fantastic, Shashi!! What a way to start the day! Plus, the protein in these pancakes gives ’em a little somethin’ somethin’. Keeps the little hunger bug away for al little bit 😉
Hope you have a fantastic holiday, my friend! xo

  7. I am SO with you on the murder mystery front – I haven’t read a novel in like 10+ years because I get SO lost in them! On a recent month long road trip I had to keep popping into charity shops to swap out my just finished novel for another – I was in fiction heaven!

  8. So, I was sold as soon as you said “pancakes” but now after reading the recipe, I am definitely going to have to try these. Where do I find Marion berries in South Florida, though…

  9. So I have to admit that I’m not familiar with marionberries. And I thought I knew all about summer berries! I just googled them, and I see that they are similar to blackberries. And, well, blackberries might just be my favorite summer fruit ever! (Even though it’s hard to pick just one.) I love the idea of using the preserves and the protein shake in the batter here. Those pancakes sound super decadent and super delicious…and perfect for serving on the morning of the 4th! I hope you gals have a great holiday down there, Shashi! 🙂
