  1. Delicious recipe, I got a honeydew melon as part of my weekly veg box, and wasn’t sure what to do with it… 2 smoothies later, I knew!
I did add some crushed nuts for proteins and a bit of a thicker texture.
    thank you!

  2. This smoothie is bomb!!! I am in LOVE! I had a cut up honeydew in my frig, and sure I enjoy eating it just like that on a hot day…so refreshing. But I felt like doing something different and healthy with it so I searched for honeydew recipes and found this one. I had everything on hand, which for me is key to actually trying it. If I had to go to the store to get ingredients, I probably never would have tried it. It is so simple and quick to make, but I never would have thought to put these ingredients together. The proportions are just right – its a perfect meld of flavors creating a unique taste all its own. Each one of the ingredients has many health benefits and there is no added sugar. I was surprised that this was not a “healthy/paleo/vegetarian” recipe site. Delicious and healthy – that is always a bonus!

  3. I have been looking for recipes and smoothies that I can prep/quickly prepare since I will be having my baby soon, and I know I won’t feel like cooking haha. This recipe was perfect since I can freeze pre cut up honeydew in the freezer and a little goes a long way if you cut and freeze the whole melon. I have enough frozen melon left for at least 4 more servings. I made it as the recipe goes to try it out since I already had all the ingredients in my pantry and it’s super refreshing and delicious!

  4. So interesting about honeydew’s history! I love honeydew and I’m glad it’s no longer reserved for the select few. That means I can whip up one of these beautiful smoothies! That color is gorgeous!

  5. This smoothie just screams summer, Shashi! I bet it is ultra refreshing! I’ve never paired melon with cinnamon before, but now I have to try! And I definitely love the coconut milk in here. I’m always stocked with that stuff….it’s just so versatile. Off to get a melon today! Have to give this one a try before summer ends…can’t believe I just wrote that! Where is the time going??? Have a wonderful week, my friend! XOXO

  6. We don’t often see honeydew melons here, but we do have what’s called a Galiamelon which comes from Spain. It has a similar taste to honeydew, so with your smoothie recipe we’ll be trying a Galiamelon smoothie.

  7. I am mostly a watermelon fan but after seeing the wonderful honeydew melon, I think I will give this one a chance. Smoothies are my favorite. They are small joys of hot summers. Your recipe of smoothie looks incredible. Thank you for sharing. I am going to try honeydew this summer.
