  1. Hi, it’s a very nice recipe. I am vegetarian so pl suggest what I can use substitute of
    egg for pizza dough

    1. Hi Renu – you could try using a flax egg? A flax egg is made with 1 tbsp of flaxseed meal mixed with 3 tbsp of water. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes to thicken and use for 1 egg.

    Thanks!

    1. Hello Kim, you could use almond meal – if your daughter-in-law is however allergic to all nuts – then I’m thinking you could use oat flour (ground up oats)

  4. Beetroot pizza base – wow. I have been trying to eat more beetroot lately. This has inspired me to put it in a pizza base and use hazelnut meal for the first time! Thanks 🙂

  5. I’m a personal chef & forwarded this recipe to a family I cook for. Yesterday it was on the “menu” 🙂 Crust turned out beautiful- added rosemary to the crust and topped it with chicken sausage & carmelized onions. Great recipe!

    1. Oh wow – I am beyond honored – thanks so much for trying this out! I love your idea of adding rosemary – andLOVE the caramalized onions – I need to try that next time. Thanks so much for letting me know, your comment made my day!

  6. This pizza crust looks beautiful! I’ll definitely be making it soon 🙂 Would it be possible to sub more quinoa flour instead of the hazelnut meal? I don’t have any hazelnut meal on hand, but I wasn’t sure if replacing it would change the texture or anything.

    1. Thanks so much Hannah – I have tried this crust with plain quinoa flour and it was a tad more dense – the hazelnut meal seemed to lighten it up – if you had almonds, you could grind them up and add them – would love to know how it turns out for you.
