    Excellent rice dish – I served with vegetable curry and it was a great accompaniment. I would give it 5 stars, but would add that the cardamom and cloves should be put in a spice bag for easy removal. Else for that it’s perfect!

  3. I followed this recipe (apart from the curry leaves and garlic, as I didn’t have any fresh in my cupboard), it was still really delicious and perfectly cooked. This will now be my go-to rice recipe, so easy and delicious.

    I have become a huge fan of cardamom…but I typically use it in baking recipes. I totally need to try it in this yellow rice. This sounds delicious, Shashi!!
