  1. So….did no one but me notice that 2 Tblsp baking powder written in the recipe is WAY too much?
I know because I tried the recipe as written and it’s wrong! I’m thinking it should be equal to the salt or MAYBE 1 teaspoon but definitely NOT 2 Tablespoons.

    1. Hey Lori you are so right! I re-published this recipe and in re-typing the recipe, I ended up putting in “2 tbspns” instead of “2 tspns” – totally my typo error – Thank you so much for catching it – 2 tbspns would be gagerific!

  2. I found this recipe this morning and made it for my family. My 16 year old daughter, who has a gluten sensitivit, gave them the thumbs up. And just like that they are now in our rotation. I didn’t alter anything (I never do the first time) but i am looking forward to adding fruit. Thanks for an easy and tasty recipe.

  3. I found your recipe because my kids LOVE pancakes, like eat them everyday, sometimes twice a day love them, but I ran out of flour and could not get to the store before breakfast. I’m giving this a try this morning!

  4. Thank you for this – these are fabulous! Though nutritious, honey and maple syrup are also sugar. Next time I’d add some ground hazelnut and flax and some vanilla.

  5. I’m glad you reposted these because I must have missed them the first time around–they look amazing!!! *-* I love gorgeous stacks of pancakes, hahah. <3 I think I actually have everything I need to be able to make them too! So excited to try em'!

  6. I guess I didn’t see this recipe as it was originally posted in 2014, so thank you for updating it. I did enjoy it – the story how you handled those 3 pancakes is hilarious! And these oat pancakes are seriously delicious 😉

  7. So happy you updated these photos, Shashi! That just means I get the chance to see a MOST delectable post that I’ve never seen before. And let me tell you, they are GORGEOUS!! Btw, how did you know I was hankering for a tall, talllll stack of pancakes? And of course, oatmeal is one of my favorite foods to eat ever… so these are totally calling my name! Pinned, of course! xo

  8. Thanks for re-posting this awesome recipe Shashi. Your pictures are stunning and your recipe is just oh so tantalizing! I make a slightly similar Scottish Oat Pancakes recipe, that I was going to have this weekend. I think I’d much rather have yours instead, Yummy!!

  9. These pancakes look incredible, Shashi! Seriously! And you know what’s funny? I was actually thinking about making a batch of pancakes or waffles this weekend. We have some good maple syrup in the pantry that’s calling my name, and I think I just found a way to use some of it. I love the idea of oats as the base for these pancakes, too. Excellent photos, my friend! Hope you gals are doing well!

  10. Oats are such a good food, and making pancakes with them is a fabulous idea. I love the thought of duelling forks, and a hopeful looking dog willing on the aftermath of pancake wars. They must be good if they are worth a battle over.
