  1. I decided to half the recipe and I barely measured anything and they still turned out delicious. Hard to go wrong with oats and pancakes, much less oats IN pancakes! Perfect recipe for customizing and playing with, thanks.

  2. Oh my god these pancakes are amazing on so many levels!! Also a huge fan of oats in shakes, cookies, cereal anything! So these definitely rocked my world! Added 1/4 cup of chocolate chips to half the recipe. So great!! Thank you!

  3. mine weren’t as fluffy as yours but i like them a lot. i am thinking i’ll make the next time without cinn or nutmeg and use like a wrap. what do you think.

  4. Hi, was researching many EASY oatmeal pancakes, picked yours because it was one of the few genuinely easy ones. Made batches of each recipe. Yours was the one that blew us away. I absolutely LOVE keeping things simple. Your recipe manages that and also is delicious. The pancakes are airy, taseful, spongy. My husband requested raisins on his… it was a nice little tweak. Been cooking for 40 yrs and this is the 1st time I’ve ever felt the need to let the recipe creator know how much I appreciate this recipe. Have sent the link to all my friends. This recipe is amazing, my goodness. I may never eat anything else again. Thanks for the recipe. Take care

  5. I made these this morning before school. It was my first time making my own pancakes, and they were awesome! Thanks for your sharing!

  6. I found this recipe this morning and made it for my family. My 16 year old daughter, who has a gluten sensitivit, gave them the thumbs up. And just like that they are now in our rotation. I didn’t alter anything (I never do the first time) but i am looking forward to adding fruit. Thanks for an easy and tasty recipe.

  7. Thank you for this – these are fabulous! Though nutritious, honey and maple syrup are also sugar. Next time I’d add some ground hazelnut and flax and some vanilla.

  8. Hi there!
We made these this morning and loved them- except…. is the baking powder quantity a typo? When I made them I thought 2 tbsp seems like a ton of baking powder so I put maybe half in but they still had a distinct baking powder taste. Just wondering if this was intentional or not? I will try them again with less baking powder as I love oat flour in any type of baking!

    1. I’m so glad you liked them – I haven’t tried them as a wrap but I can see how they might work – would you spread them out much more in the cooking process” If so, they’d be thinner and probably would work well as a wrap… do let me know how they turn out if you get a chance…

      1. will do. i’ve frozen what i made last week and took out one at a time. i really like the flavor and texture.

      2. hi again. i made the no spice version this AM. I did 1/2 your recipe and I added 3 tsp of ground flax meal and 3 tsp wheat germ for some added nutrition. tasted just like a non spiced pancake and had some chew too. I loved them.
i allowed the batter to sit in the refrigerator for about 1/2 hour to thicken up more and that made it much thicker. not tried it yet as a wrap. if do, will let you know. love the recipe.

    1. Katelyn – thank you for calling this out – I re-published this recipe and somehow ended up adding in “tbspn” instead of “tspn” – I am so incredibly sorry – 2 teaspoons work fine in these pancakes. If you use a pancake mold, you get a higher rise to them (I’ve experimented with that just not for these pictures.) Thanks again – I hope you give these a try again… maybe…

      1. Thank you for getting back to me. That makes way more sense! I will definitely try those muffins. Thank you!
